On behalf of the Cathedral Senior & Junior Chapters and the Sts. Peter & Paul Chapter of the American Romanian Orthodox Youth, we sincerely invite you to our 59th Annual National Conference on August 29-31 at the Diocesan Cathedral of St. George and the Church of Sts. Peter & Paul.

     Our theme, "United as One", reflects that our two parishes have stepped forward in a unified, cooperative spirit to support A.R.O.Y. and jointly host this conference.  As young Romanian Orthodox Christians in North America, we pray that our theme resounds in the minds and hearts of our members, parishes and families.  We come together as young people and supporters of Christ's Church to grow and work together for His Glory; so that we are United as One - with each other and with Him.

     Unique events will highlight the metropolitan Detroit region and our Romanian heritage, bringing us together to worship, enjoy wonderful food, dance, and do good works.  We hold strong to our traditions and look forward to making new memories and friendships.  The National Conferences always attract numbers of Past Presidents and Alumni.  We hope that even more will keep the A.R.O.Y. spirit of yesterday and today strong for the future.  We urge you to reunite with us and be part of this special weekend!

     În numele filialelor de tineret A.R.O.Y., Senior și Juniori, ale Catedralei Sf. Gheorghe și a Bisericii Sf. Apostoli Petru și Pavel, vă invităm să participați la a 59-a Conferință Națională Anuală ce va avea loc pe data de 28-31 august la Catedrala Episcopală Sf. Gheorghe și la Biserica Sf. Apostoli Petru și Pavel.

     Moto-ul nostru, “Unitate”, reflectă efortul comun în care parohiile noastre s-au adunat pentru a sprijini A.R.O.Y. și a găzdui împreună această conferință.  Ca tineri ortodocși români în America de Nord, ne rugăm ca această temă să răsune în mințile și inimile tutoror membrilor, parohiilor și familiilor noastre.  Suntem alături ca tineri ce doresc să susțină Biserica lui Hristos, să creștem și să lucrăm împreună spre slava Lui; așa încât suntem toți Uniți  în El.

     Evenimente deosebite vor pune în lumină zona metropolitană a Detroitului alături de tradițiile noastre românești, aducându-ne împreună în rugăciune și fapte bune, delectându-ne cu mâncare bună și dans.  Păstrându-ne cu tărie tradițiile strămoșești, așteptăm cu nerăbdare să legăm noi prietenii și să rămânem cu amintiri plăcute.  Conferințele naționale întotdeauna aduc laolaltă foști președinți și membri din vechea generație.  Sperăm ca spiritul A.R.O.Y. de ieri și de azi să rămână puternic și pentru viitor.  Vă îndemnăm să ne reunim și să luați parte la evenimentele acestui weekend deosebit!
