DELEGATE
REGISTRATION |
|
All
chapters should have already submitted their list of elected
delegates/alternates to the National A.R.O.Y. Secretary, Andreea
Grigore. If your chapter has not yet done so, please see
that this is done immediately.
The
Delegate Registration Fee this year is $70 per delegate.
It includes admission to all scheduled meals and events, as well
as conference delegate materials. The Registration Fees
must be paid either at the time of registration that weekend or
in advance of the weekend. Delegates will not be seated
without following the proper registration procedures.
Note:
Only the number of Registration packets that have been paid and
registered will be issued to a chapter. In the event that
a Delegate is absent for any period of time, an elected
Alternate will be entitled to the Registration packet of the
Delegate he/she is replacing. Should they both be in
attendance, the Delegate is entitled to the Registration packet
and the Alternate must be responsible for his/her tickets for
events, unless otherwise determined by the chapter.
Additional packets will not be issued.
As
an added convenience, those chapters who wish to send their
Registration Fees prior to the weekend, thus expediting their
registration at the event, may do so by sending a check (payable
to "59th A.R.O.Y. Conference") for the total amount
to:

BEHAVIOR
& PROTOCOL |
|
The
A.R.O.Y. Conference has always been considered a family affair.
As young people, please remember that your behavior is
observed by many people. Be
courteous to adults and each other – say “hello”, open the
door for someone, etc. And
of course, BE ON TIME!
Be
especially mindful at the hotel.
You are personally responsible for your actions.
You may be warned by a Conference committee member if a
problem or potential problem is observed, but the hotel has
every right to dismiss you from the premises at their
discretion. UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES will under-age drinking or drug use be tolerated
anywhere or at anytime at any Conference venues.
Basically stated, if you are not prepared to be a good
example then stay home.
Remember
to respect the clergy. The
correct practice when greeting a priest or bishop is to ask for
his blessing and kiss his right hand when the blessing is given.
Everyone is expected to
participate in ALL SERVICES, and especially the Divine Liturgy
through Holy Communion. Of
course, those planning to receive Holy Communion must prepare
themselves properly during the prior night and morning.
There is an opportunity for Confession on Saturday during
Great Vespers. Be
sure to observe these teachings of the Church. |
